Be Well Employee Wellness Program

MHPSD is pleased to offer the "Be Well Employee Wellness Program" with the vision of helping you live a healthier, more satisfying life...at work and at home.

Wellness Committee
This representative group from across the Division has joined together to form a Wellness Committee at Superintendent Davidson’s request in September 2016. The Wellness Committee has collaborated, researched and proposed a plan of action built on a foundation of successful practice. Wellness Champions were established at each location, and a survey was conducted in October 2017 to determine what our division’s focus would be...outlined below as our "Wellness Pillars" and focus for the 2018- 2019 school year.

Wellness Champions
At each location in our division, a Wellness Champion has been identified. The Wellness Champion’s key role is to support and share the division plan that was created by the Wellness Committee. They are responsible for updating and maintaining the Health and Safety Wellness bulletin boards in all locations, presenting a series of five minute “moments” on topics of workplace wellness at staff meetings, and attending Wellness Champion meetings throughout the school year for planning.

Wellness Pillars
At the start of the 2017-18 school year, MHPSD staff were invited to participate in a wellness survey. The data was analyzed and several key themes emerged that the Wellness Champions in each of our locations have been focusing on. They are:
