Armstrong Wins Prime Minister's Award for Teaching ExcellenceCongratulations to Crescent Heights High School teacher, Donna Armstrong, for being one of only 11 national level winners receiving the Prime Minister's Award for Teaching Excellence 2018. The grade 7-12 multimedia and communication technology teacher was presented with the award by Prime Minister Justin Trudeau at an awards ceremony held in Ottawa on May 2nd.

This isn’t Donna’s first such award as last year she received the Prime Minister’s Regional Award. She states, "Last year I was excited to win the regional award, and this year it was an amazing honour to meet Justin Trudeau and receive the Prime Minister's Award for Teaching Excellence National Certificate of Excellence. I had the opportunity to network with educators from across Canada, share Best Practices and showcase students who inspire me everyday. Special thanks to my school and District for their support and encouragement."

Way to go Donna...we are so proud of you!
